2021 Babe Ruth Baseball 16-18U World Series Opening Ceremony

The 2021 Babe Ruth Baseball 16-18U World Series opening ceremony was July 31 at Hank Aaron Stadium. During the evening, the Babe Ruth League recognized many in the community for their dedication and support of the Babe Ruth 16-18 World Series. Those recognized included the City of Mobile, Mobile County, Visit Mobile, and the Mobile Sports Authority. First pitches were thrown by Jack Tillman and Randall Dueitt.  Jack is a former Welterweight Boxing Champion, a former Mobile County Sheriff, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Mobile Sports Authority. Randall is the District 3 Mobile County Commissioner. Kenlee Tillman sang the national anthem.  The Alabama Rawdogs took to the field after the ceremony in a game against the Dexter Missouri Tropics.  The night concluded with a firework display.
