2024 Mobile Cycling Classic Presented by the Mobile Sports AuthorityCycling

It will be pedals to the metal in South Mobile for both days of the Mobile Cycling Classic at Commerce Park - South Mobile Industrial District - 5600 Commerce Blvd. E. Mobile, AL  36619.   

Sanctioned by USA Cycling, the Mobile Cycling Classic is an intense, fast-paced, sometimes combative but always fun criterium, commonly known as a crit.  The course will challenge riders as they make numerous laps in a relatively short timeframe. The series of races, which last between 20 and 60 minutes, will be divided into various skill categories for men and women.  Cyclists throughout the region will be in town competing for cash prizes.

The two-day event is divided into three stages as follows:

Saturday, March 9th Stage 1 (State Championship) 

8:00 AM – Start
1 PM – Finish

This relatively easy course is wide open with very little technical skills needed and nice smooth pavements at 1.1 miles. Great course for a championship!

Saturday, March 9th Stage 2 Crit

3:30 PM – Start
9:30 PM – Finish

Short L-shaped course for a tighter and more challenging race at .84 miles, a little something for everyone.  

Sunday, March 10th Stage 3 Circuit race

9:00 AM – Start
2:00 PM – Finish

Riders will be challenged by the course with its U shape design. This circuit will take riders on a 1.7-mile loop with a 180 turn and a short technical section on the far side with no elevation, this circuit should be fast.

Pre-registration deadline is noon on March 7th.  Early bird fees of $35 ends February 13 at 11:59 pm and then will be $40.

Onsite registration will be $55 per rider.
