2026 Gulf Coast Clash High School Wrestling TournamentWrestling

The 8th annual Gulf Coast Clash, presented by the Mobile Sports Authority, will be held on Friday, November 20th, and Saturday, November 21st, at the Mobile Convention Center. This year’s tournament will feature teams from across the southeastern United States, including multiple defending state-championship teams and individuals! This year’s event will feature an Elite bracket and a regular varsity bracket!

This year’s tournament will have a separate Girls’ Division!  Girls’ Wrestling is one of the fastest-growing sports in the U.S. today, and this will be the 6th year that there has been a Girls’ State Championship in Alabama! The Top 3 Girls’ Wrestling teams in the state are all scheduled to be there, so don’t miss this early-season preview of the 2026 Girls’ State Championship!

Event Schedule:

Friday, November 20

• Weigh-ins from 12:00 noon - 1:30 pm
• Start wrestling at 2:00 pm
  • Rolling schedule, but wrestling should continue at approximately 9:00 pm

Saturday, November 21

• Weigh-ins from 7:30 am - 8:30 am
• Start wrestling at 9:00 am
  • Rolling schedule
  • Finals for Elite Varsity and Girls should start approximately 5-6 pm.
