The Alabama High School Athletic Association Football State Championships are one of the most exciting and highly anticipated sporting events in the state. Each December, over the course of five days, the final two teams from each of Alabama’s six classifications (1A through 6A) and 2 Flag Football classifications compete to be crowned as the new state champions.
