2021 Azalea Trail Run (43rd Annual) Run/Walk

Location Information

For 42 years, participants have raced through the oak-shaded streets of old Mobile enjoying the sights and smells of a city in full bloom.  More than 10,000 racers from across the world will come to Mobile to compete in the The Azalea Trail Run (ATR) - one of the nation's premier 10K road races. Both the 10K and 5K races are RRCA-sanctioned with USATF-certified courses. All races, including the 2K Fun Run/Walk, are on flat, fast surfaces.  Water and comfort stations are provided along the courses. 

Wheelchairs: This is a 10K race only and is held in accordance to rules set by Wheelchairsports U.S.A.

ATR Health and Fitness Expo:  This two-day event opens to the public on Friday, March 26 and will feature medical and merchandise vendors, free screenings, music, and a post-race celebration.

12:00 PM: ATR Race Headquarters and Expo Open (Mobile Civic Center Arena)
9:00 PM:   Expo and Registration closes for the evening
 

Saturday, March 27, 2021
6:00 AM: Race Headquarters and Expo Open
7:55 AM: 10K Wheelchair Start
8:00 AM: 10K Race Start
8:15 AM: 5K Race Start
9:30 AM: 2K Fun Run Start
8:30 AM: Post-race party featuring live music and health/fitness expo
10:30 AM: Awards Ceremony

Food and beverage service inside the Civic Center Main Arena starts at 8:45 AM

For everyone's safety, course restrictions are as follows:  Strollers, baby joggers, roller blades, balls, bicycles, headphones, ear buds and pets are prohibited on the 5K and 10K race courses.
