About Spring Hill College


Spring Hill College is the oldest Catholic college in the Southeast, the third oldest Jesuit college and the fifth oldest Catholic college in the United States. Ranked among the top 20 Southern colleges and universities in U.S. News & World Report's “America's Best Colleges,” its mission is to form students to become responsible leaders in service to others. We accept students from all religious denominations.

Location


Located on the Gulf Coast, Mobile, Alabama is situated at the mouth of the Mobile River and the edge of Mobile Bay. About 540,000 residents live in the Mobile Bay area, which encompasses approximately 2,800 square miles. Mobile combines Southern beauty and charm with the advantages of a fast-growing metropolitan area. The region offers an abundance of cultural and recreational opportunities for people of all ages.

Student Body


Spring Hill College has 1,449 students, and sixty percent of our students come from outside the state of Alabama. Our freshman class is academically strong with an average high school GPAs ranging from 3.12 to 3.92 and average ACT scores of 21 to 27.

Athletics


A member of the Southern States Athletic Conference, Spring Hill fields intercollegiate men's and women's basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, track and field, men's baseball, and women's softball and volleyball. Our student-athletes’ average GPA is 3.0. We also offer club and intramural sports.
